Venue Spotlight: Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc Powwow Arbour

There are event spaces, and then there are spaces that carry meaning. Set along the South Thompson River, just 10 minutes from downtown and uptown Kamloops hotels is the Powwow Arbour.

The Arbour is home to the Kamloopa Pow Wow, one of the largest celebrations of Indigenous culture and heritage in Western Canada.

Covered seating offers some shelter, but the Arbour is an outdoor venue at heart - open to the sky, the river breeze, and the elements. There is no other space like it in Kamloops.

This past winter, the City of Kamloops opened a skating loop right at Riverside Park in the heart of downtown, just minutes from major venues like the Sandman Centre. With skate rentals on-site from Okanagan Affordable Rentals, delegates could lace up without any extra planning on your end. Kamloops keeps finding new ways to make your event experience memorable.
