🌸🫖 What a lovely way to wrap up another wonderful year with Desert Sounds! 🫖🌸

We gathered at Janice's beautiful home for our year-end High Tea party, and it was the perfect way to celebrate a year of friendship, music, and memories. Everyone looked fabulous in their flowery dresses, and we enjoyed tea, treats, and lots of laughs together.

ARE WE HAVING ANY FUN?! You bet we are 🤩
We’re Home from Regionals - What an incredible weekend in Edmonton for our chorus!

We are thrilled to share that we:
🥈 Placed 2nd in the Small Chorus Category
📈 Improved our score by an amazing 46 points from last year
🏆 Received an award for the Most Improved in Visual Communication

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, growth, and heart every member brought to the stage this season. From rehearsals to performances, every moment of effort led to this exciting achievement!

A huge thank you to our talented director, leadership team, coaches, friends, family, and our entire chorus community for cheering us on every step of the way. ❤️

This experience has inspired us even more, and we can’t wait to continue growing, performing, and sharing our love of music with our community.

🎶 We had a wonderful time competing at the Kamloops Festival of Performing Arts (KFPA)!

Desert Sounds A Ca****la Plus performed Canada, My Home and The Parting Glass and were so grateful to have the incredibly talented Sarona Mynhardt as our adjudicator. She provided thoughtful feedback and a fantastic workshop that gave us lots to take away and work on together.

Thank you to the Festival of Performing Arts and Sarona for such a lovely and inspiring experience! 💙🎶

What a day! DSA had the privilege of being coached by the power duo, Amy and Donny Rose 🤩 We walked away with more than improved vocal skills- we gained a deeper understanding of how to truly support one another❤️
