What do the Spellderberries, who came in second in a field of 17 at the 15th Annual Adult Team Spelling Challenge, have in common? Pretty well all of them have been KALS members -- many board members and instructors, as well. A testament to the power of lifelong learning.

Canadians aged 55 and over were less likely than younger Canadians to volunteer for a charity or non-profit organization, but those who did gave more hours.
