🎣 What do you get when Canadian Tire, local cops, RCMP, and a bunch of kids take over the beach for a day?

🐟 A whole lotta fish stories, a few tangled fishing lines, and a REEL good time. 😎🎸☀️ Kids, Cops & Canadian Tire Fishing Day is back at Innisfil Beach Park on June 20, 2026 — and it’s shaping up to be bigger, louder, and fishier than ever! 😂

Bring the family out for a morning packed with:
🎣 Fishing
🏆 Prizes & giveaways
🍔 Great community vibes
😆 And officers trying to explain to the fish why they got caught

🕖 Event runs: 7AM–12PM
🎣 Fishing starts: 8AM
🏆 Prizes & gifts: 11AM

Kids under 16 can fish alongside local officers, meet community heroes, and maybe even outfish the cops this year. (Let’s be honest… the kids usually do. 😂)

Huge shoutout to the South Simcoe Police Association, RCMP, and Canadian Tire for helping make this amazing community tradition happen year after year. 👏❤️

The Innisfil Lions Club was proud to host the Lions International A-12 Cabinet Meeting. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring Lions together from across the district to share ideas, celebrate accomplishments, and plan for the future of service in our communities.
A special thank you to The Cove Cafe for providing a delicious lunch that was enjoyed by all in attendance. Your hospitality and great food helped make the day even more special.
Thank you to everyone who attended and to all the volunteers who helped make this event a success. Together, we continue to make a difference through service, friendship, and community support. 💙💛🦁

Today we celebrate a truly dedicated member of the Innisfil Lions Club. Tammy, thank you for all the hard work and countless hours you put into making our club and community a better place.
Whether you're helping organize our darts and euchre events, leading the planning for our annual Canada Day celebration, or lending a hand at Breakfast with Santa, your commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to serve never go unnoticed.
Your dedication to Lionism and your passion for helping others make a lasting impact on our club and the families we serve. We are incredibly grateful for everything you do and are so fortunate to have you as part of our Lions family.

Lions Camp Dorset is a unique, non-profit facility in Dorset, that provides vacation opportunities for dialysis patients and their families while offering on-site dialysis services. Supported by Lions Clubs across Ontario, the camp combines healthcare with recreation in a beautiful lakeside setting.

Members of the Innisfil Lions Club and other lovely volunteers took a trip up to Camp Dorset to assist with maintenance projects, including painting and repairing cabins. This volunteer effort helps keep the camp welcoming and comfortable for the families who rely on it each season. It’s a great example of Lions helping Lions and supporting an important community resource. Thank you to all the volunteers that took time this week to help 💙

💙 Giving Back to Our Community 💙
Last night, we were incredibly proud to present six $1,000 donations to organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many people in our community.

The recipients were:
-COPE Service Dogs
-Women & Children's Shelter of Barrie
-My Sister's Place
-Canadian Mental Health Association
-DeafBlind Ontario Services
-Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides

These donations are only possible because of the incredible support we receive from our community. Every event attended, every ticket purchased, every volunteer hour, and every act of support helps us give back to causes that are changing lives every day.
We are grateful to everyone who supports the Innisfil Lions Club and helps us continue our mission of serving others. Together, we are making a difference, one donation at a time.

Thank you to these wonderful organizations for the important work they do, and thank you to our community for helping make contributions like these possible. We are honoured to play a small part in supporting the people and families who rely on these services.
