The Innisfil Indian Association is proud to be part of the Town of Innisfil’s Community Food Project as one of the community partners working towards supporting families and individuals in need.

With the generous support of the Town of Innisfil through this grant initiative, we are honored to partner with ISKCON Barrie to bring the “Food for Life” initiative to our community.

This initiative will take place on June 14 and is focused on serving fresh food with compassion, care, love and devotion.

At IIA, we believe that food is more than a necessity , it is dignity, love, and connection.

More details will be shared soon. Stay tuned.

We were proud to be part of the Innisfil Mayor’s Breakfast a great platform that brought together community leaders, professionals, and entrepreneurs.

We also got the opportunity to meet and interact with so many wonderful people, making the experience even more meaningful.

We had the chance to hear from Robert Lavigne (Chief Economist, OMERS), who shared valuable insights on the evolving economic landscape from the growing impact of AI on economic growth to broader global challenges shaping our future.

On International Women’s Day, Su, Vice President of IIA was invited to speak at the Diversity Action Group’s event, representing not just her journey, but a vision for a more inclusive and equitable world.
She shared her experiences with honesty, encouraging others to challenge norms and step into spaces with confidence.

As Su said, “Have the courage to do things even if you don’t know where the path will lead.”

That’s the kind of leadership that drives real change, rooted in courage, purpose, and action.
Proud to see her continue to lead, inspire, and make an impact.
