South Simcoe Pet Food Bank Pet Food Bank covering Barrie, Innisfil and Bradford Our pets are part of our family. They need food too.

From time to time people may find themselves in a position of needing a food bank due to unexpected financial hardships. We are a group of volunteers who will collect donated food and distribute to those in need on an interim basis until they are back on their feet. The Pet Food Bank covers Barrie, Innisfil, Alliston and Bradford, Ontario.

We are very behind at our “Thank You’s” and for that we sincerely apologize! It has been a very busy few months and as soon as something is donated, it is going right back into the bellies of the pets who need it.
PLEASE NOTE: Everything we are stating our thankfulness for below is already gone and once again our shelves are BARE and we are currently paused on fulfilling any requests for food.

❤️ Nick and his beyond generous team at Can-Pet who donated a skid of food.

💙 The incredible individuals who saw the story on CTV News or heard it on the radio and answered our pleas for donations by shopping our Amazon wish list or sending an etransfer. We truly have been sustained by your generosity the past 3 months.

💜 The Kibble Project and their incredible team who keep us going so many days. We would have had to shut down many years ago if it was not for everything TKP does.

💚 GlobalPets in Innisfil and on Essa Rd. in Barrie. We are always so thankful for your call to pick up a donation, they always come at the right time.

💛 PetValu in Stoud is a newer store location and they have made supporting the community a priority right from when they first opened! We are so so so thankful!

🤎 PetValu in Innisfil, the Wellington plaza and the Yonge/Big Bay Road location. More times then I can count, we have been down to nothing and we get a message from your wonderful manager that donations are ready to be picked up. We are so very thankful for your stores and generosity!

🩷 Barrie SPCA who has generously shared with SSPFB when they have been able. Many animals didn’t go hungry because of your generosity.

🩵 Thank you to our incredible local businesses who continue to collect donations for us! Your support month after month means so much!

Our volunteer team may be extremely small but the support behind us, from people like those listed above, truly keeps us going and helps us keep all your pets fed.

🚨WE URGENTLY NEED DONATIONS🚨

Right now, the donations coming into the South Simcoe Pet Food Bank simply are not keeping up with the number of requests coming in for help.

At the time of posting, we currently have requests waiting for:
🐶 51 dogs
🐱 48 cats
🐰 1 rabbit
and additional requests are coming in every hour.

No family should have to choose between feeding themselves or feeding their beloved pet — but we cannot continue helping without the support of our community.

We are incredibly grateful to the amazing local businesses in Barrie, Innisfil, and Stroud that collect donations for us. If you are able to donate pet food, treats, litter, or supplies, donations can be dropped off at any of these locations:

The past few weeks have been incredibly challenging for our little pet food bank. Our shelves have been emptied again and again — but each time, our community stepped in to help make sure beloved pets in our area did not go hungry.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the amazing businesses, rescues, organizations, and individuals who have helped keep us going through donations, collection drives, sharing our posts, and supporting us however they could:
