East Hants Fire Service had 24 members attend an Elevator Course held at the Lloyd Matheson Center. Milford Fire had three members who completed the “Emergency Evacuation of Passengers from Elevating Devices” course on Apr 25, 2026. Deputy Rod MacLeod, Captain Josh Wagner and Firefighter Michael Moxsom were presented their certificates tonight. Well done and Congratulations!

With some of the proceeds from Nova Scotia Firefighters 50/50 we had purchased a remote spotlight for the Rescue, chains for extrication, elevator rescue kit, lockout Tagout Kit, Milwaukee Chainsaw and Chainsaw Safety equipment. thank You to our supporters!
