For the first time, we are sharing the story of our journey. 👀

Since 2018, Black Girls Gather has grown from a grassroots response to the needs of racialized women on local campuses into a thriving community rooted in connection, care, and opportunity.

Today, we are excited to share our first Impact Report.

When the Honorable Marci Ien took the stage, she didn’t just give a speech she gave us a mandate! To stand tall! And that’s exactly what we are doing this year.

We are still reflecting on what it means to live through the “dash”, making every moment between our start and our finish count for our community. ❤️👩🏽‍🤝‍👩🏾

Join us for Black Girls Gather’s 4th Annual International Women’s Day Breakfast, a celebration of women’s leadership, resilience, and impact. This year’s theme, Women in Leadership: Driving Meaningful Change, highlights the power of women to lead with authenticity, courage, and purpose — even in the most complex and demanding spaces.

We are honoured to welcome The Honourable Marci Ien, former Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth, as our keynote speaker. From broadcast journalist to federal cabinet minister, The Hon. Marci Ien has navigated some of Canada’s most challenging political landscapes while championing equity and inclusion on a national and global scale.

Drawing from her personal journey and public service, The Hon. Marci Ien offers candid reflections on the challenges women face as leaders and caregivers — and how to lead with confidence, compassion, and purpose. With honesty and insight, she explores leading through vulnerability, balancing competing demands, and speaking up when it matters most. Attendees will leave inspired and empowered to create meaningful change.

Tickets are now available (https://shorturl.at/fPmdo), and sponsorship opportunities are open for organizations that wish to support this impactful celebration (https://shorturl.at/0VoSl).
