Thank you for joining HJCC Social!
This was our first event to directly connect with the community, which we enjoyed a lot, and hope you did as well!

8月15日、2629 Agricola St (Italian Canadian Culture Association の建物内）にて交流会を行います🌸🌊

Gama by Lee のお弁当を食べながら、日本人、日系人コミュニティ、そしてHJCCについてより知ってもらうイベントとなっています。またこちらのイベントでは、子供向けに日本のゲームなども用意しています。

参加費はお弁当のサイズごとに分けてあります。
🍱 通常サイズのお弁当（大人向け）＄１８
🍱 ハーフサイズのお弁当　（子供向け）＄１２

Come join us for lunch at 2629 Agricola St (inside the Italian Canadian Culture Association building) on August 15, 2026🌸🌊

This is a small gathering to get to know the community and HJCC while we enjoy the bento box from Gama by Lee. This is a family-friendly event, and there will be space for kids to enjoy some Japanese games and activities.

There will be two ticket types depending on the size of bento boxes:
🍱 $18 for full-sized bento (recommended for adults)
🍱 $12 for half-sized bento (recommended for children)

Thank you everyone for joining the Tanabata Market🎋🌌✨

It went well thanks to all vendors and volunteers as always!!

We had first collaboration with Japanese School of Halifax for the workshop and also the chorus! Thank you for coordinators and students who participated.

出店者の皆様、ボランティアの皆様のおかげでスムーズにマーケットを行うことができました。本当にありがとうございます。

また、初めての試みとしてハリファックス日本語補習授業校の皆様とワークショップの運営と合唱を行いました。
運営の皆様、生徒の皆様、ありがとうございました！とても素敵な歌で、感動したとのコメントをたくさんの方からいただきました🫶

By bike, legs, car, or bus, we've made you a map to get you where you need to go!
Read the slides for info on routes to the market location!!

By Bike: You can get to the Halifax Brewery Market by using a bike lane along Lower Water Street or Hollis Street.

By Ferry: You can get to the Halifax Brewery Market by taking a ferry from Alderney (Woodside Ferry is not operated on weekends!)

By Bus: You can get to the Halifax Brewery Market by taking bus #1, #7, #8, #9, #10, #29, or #90. You can also walk to the market from Water St Terminal and Scotia Square Terminal. It will be around 10-15 mins walk!
