❤️ Today is World Heart Day, and we’re shining a spotlight on Camp Braveheart!

At Camp Braveheart, campers don’t have to explain why they have a scar, take medication, or why their experience might look a little different. They’re surrounded by kids who understand…

Which leaves more room for the things kids should get to think about at Camp:

What’s happening at campfire tonight? Am I going to do the polar bear dip?

This summer, 22 Braveheart Campers got to experience exactly that. ❤️

And the connection doesn’t have to end when summer does.

On Saturday, November 28, children with congenital heart defects from across Canada are invited to join a bilingual Pan-Canadian Virtual Heart Camp, organized by the Virtual Heart Connection, the Canadian Congenital Heart Alliance and Brigadoon Village.

The one-day virtual Camp will bring kids together for games, arts and crafts, cookie decorating, sharing circles with older patients and opportunities to ask questions about their hearts. Participants will even receive an activity package ahead of time so everyone can take part together from home.
