Happy Halloween from Rainbow Day Camp! 🌈

We hope your day is full of treats, giggles, and the BEST costumes!

But here’s our little secret... at Rainbow Day Camp, we kind of do Halloween every Friday. 👻🦸‍♀️🧙‍♂️ Dress-up days are just what we do, and every kid gets to be whoever they want to be.

Wishing you all a happy, spooky, super fun Halloween!

There’s definitely a vibe at Rainbow.

It’s laughing. It’s smiling. It’s everyone being included and kids just being kids.

🌈 There’s just something magical about Rainbow Day Camp.

Maybe it’s the camp songs that get stuck in everyone’s heads (parents included 😂). Maybe it’s the themed weeks where kids turn into heroes, wild things, and storybook legends. Or maybe it’s the moment a camper who was nervous on Monday is leading a song by Friday. 💛

Here’s a little secret about Rainbow

Someone is ALWAYS watching.

Not in a spooky way — in the best way. Our campers are constantly checking out their counsellors. How they talk to each other. How they handle a tough moment. How they cheer for a friend. How they laugh at themselves when the craft goes sideways.

To a 6-year-old, a camp counsellor isn’t just staff. They’re the coolest person they know. 💛

That’s why we take mentorship seriously. Every high-five, every kind word, every “you’ve got this” is being noticed — and copied.

So to our counsellors: thank you for showing our campers what kindness, courage, and goofy joy look like. They’re learning from you every single day. 🌈✨

People ask me all the time, “So what IS Rainbow Day Camp like?”
And honestly? I could sit here all day and tell you… but it’s so much better if I just show you. 💛

The singing. The silly costumes. The kid who was shy on Monday and leading the camp song by Thursday. The friendships. The belonging. 🥹

That’s Rainbow. Every kid, every day, exactly as they are

This is the post I’ve been saving. 🌈 What a summer. Truly one for the books — full of big laughs, brave first-timers, silly songs, and so much joy. To our campers: you made every single day. To our incredible counsellors and volunteers: your energy, patience, and heart are what make Rainbow what it is. To our Rainbow families: thank you for trusting us with your kids and your summers. This one meant so much. 💛
