16500 + pairs of eyeglasses were prepared for shipment to the Canadian Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centre. .Thank you to community volunteers and the members of Royal City Lions, Woodstock Lions, Dundas Lions, Rockwood Lions, Belwood Lions & District Governor Linda Vinette who made this eyeglasse packing successful. The Guelph Royal City Lions Club are once again this year collecting, new warm socks through the months of October and November for donation to those in need in our community who are homeless or facing homelessness. Keeping feet warm this cold weather season is a service project we continue to support.

Please consider donating a pair or a package of new socks to our "Sock It To Us" service project. Donations can be dropped off to Lion Carl Swanson's "Complete Tax" office, 226 Speedvale Avenue W., Guelph, Tuesday to Thursday, 9am to 5PM. If you have socks you would like to donate and cannot drop them off, please contact us and we will have one of our Lions arrange to pick them up for you. Thank you for your support.
