Message from Governor Keshala:

As I reflect on our time together at the 49th Soroptimist International of the Americas Biennial Convention in Incheon, South Korea, I am filled with gratitude and pride.

It was an honour to share this incredible journey with members from Soroptimist International of Cambridge, Soroptimist International of Guelph, Soroptimist International of Grand Erie, and Soroptimist International of Thunder Bay. Together, we represented Eastern Canada with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a shared commitment to improving the lives of women and girls.

Convention is about so much more than attending sessions. It is about building friendships, learning from one another, celebrating our achievements, and returning home inspired with fresh ideas to strengthen our clubs and our communities. Watching these remarkable women embrace every opportunity to learn, connect, and lead reminded me why I am so proud to serve as Governor of the Eastern Canada Region.

Thank you to each of you for your passion, your willingness to share your experiences, and your dedication to our mission. You represented our region beautifully, and I know the knowledge and inspiration you gained will have a lasting impact as we continue to empower women and girls across our communities.

The journey doesn’t end here. I look forward to seeing the ideas, energy, and collaborations that grow from this unforgettable experience. Together, we are stronger, and together, we continue to make a difference.
