The new building at Prairie Aviation Training Centre is going up so fast that we can hardly update you in time! We are thrilled to let you know that there are now windows and a nice exterior paint job!

This new expansion will allow us to double our student capacity, enabling us to send more aviators into the workforce in Canada and as mission aviators around the world.

Today is International Day of Charity, a day to celebrate the difference that can be made when people choose to give, participate, and come together for others. ❤️

And we can’t think of a better opportunity to say thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s MAF Runway Run!

Hundreds of steps were taken down the runway last weekend, but each one represented something much bigger: helping make life-saving flights possible for people living in some of the world’s most cut-off communities. To every runner and walker, every person who donated or fundraised, our volunteers, our friends at Run Waterloo, and everyone who came out to cheer people on, thank you for being part of it. ✈️

On a recent flight over northeastern South Sudan, MAF pilot Reuben looked down on what remained of Torpuot—a village devastated by conflict and largely abandoned after families and ministry workers were forced to flee.

The destruction was heartbreaking. Yet, along the same flight path, a rainbow stretched across the sky: a powerful reminder of God’s mercy and faithfulness, even amid tragedies we can't understand

Please join us in praying for the people of Torpuot and the many other communities affected by conflict. Pray for peace, restoration, and renewed opportunities for the Gospel to reach remote corners of South Sudan.

An old aircraft has landed with a new mission! ✈️

After years of serving with MAF in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Haiti, this Cessna 206 has arrived at Prairie Aviation Training Centre (PATC) in Three Hills, Alberta.

MAF Canada purchased the aircraft from MAF US so it can continue serving—this time by helping prepare future mission pilots. Once the import process and Canadian registration are complete, it will be used for advanced aircraft training, mountain flying, and cross-country flights.

The aircraft that once carried help and hope to remote communities will now equip pilots to do the same. Welcome to PATC, C-FGWD!
