For many of us, accessing eye care can be as simple as making an appointment. But for someone living in a cut-off community, the journey to care can look very different.

In remote places such as Nosy Varika, Madagascar, reaching medical assistance can mean long journeys by boat and road. But when MAF can fly medical teams there, a journey that can otherwise take days takes just 50 minutes by air, giving them more time to care for patients.

One flight can change everything.

What an incredible reminder that the seeds planted today can bear fruit for generations to come! ❤️

MAF Canada is proud to partner with LAMP through the work of MAF pilot Andrew Ansley, helping bring the love of Christ to remote First Nations communities across Canada.

We're so excited to show you what is happening in Cavango! ✈️

Concrete has now been laid for the new aircraft apron and future hangar at MAF’s Cavango base in Angola.

This is an important step toward better protecting the aircraft from mud, dust, sun and rain, helping keep it ready for medevacs, ministry flights and support for the nearby Cavango Clinic.

Today, on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we remember the painful legacy of residential schools and recognize the importance of listening, learning and building relationships rooted in respect, trust, and love

Through MAF’s partnership with LAMP, pilot Andrew Anstey helps connect pastors and ministry teams with remote First Nations communities across Northern Canada. But the flight is only the beginning.

LAMP serves by invitation, returning year after year, listening to communities, sharing life together and allowing trust and friendship to grow over time.

Today, we’re especially grateful for the relationships that have been built across generations, and for all we continue to learn from the First Nations communities LAMP serves alongside.
