What an incredible day of learning, connection and women empowering women! 💜
The Edmonton Multicultural Coalition was proud to host it's Third Women’s Empowerment Event, with the theme “Knowledge Saves Lives: Cancer Awareness, Prevention & Early Detection.”
With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this conversation could not have come at a more meaningful time.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Juliet Maina for sharing her knowledge and expertise on cancer awareness, prevention and early detection, and to Dr. Rashid from the Alberta Association of Optometrists for reminding us of the importance of eye health and regular eye exams.
We are deeply grateful to the City of Edmonton for funding this initiative.
And most importantly, thank you to every woman who attended. The event was a success because YOU came, participated, learned and supported one another. Together, we are building stronger, healthier and more empowered communities.
