This morning on Global Edmonton, Dr. Ted Purcell told viewers about sweet and silly adoptable pup, Willow ❤️

This one-year-old rottweiler mix is full of energy, s***k and most of all, love 🫶

Willow will never pass up a moment to vigorously roll around in the grass before taking a break to zoom around the yard — making sure to stop by for some full-body scratches!

Callie's Adoption Story ❤️

When Stacey and her husband decided they were ready to add a kitten to their home, they headed right to the Edmonton Humane Society to find their new best friend 🐱

"While we were knelt down looking at all the tiny fur babies, my husband felt a tap on top of his head," Stacey tells us. "We looked up and saw the prettiest little black and white kitty. She rolled over on her back and reached out to us through the cage."

From then on, Stacey knew this was the kitty for them — they had been chosen. And it has been a perfect match ever since 🫶

"The thing I love most about Callie are her big bright eyes," Stacey says. "I also love the way she comes to greet me when I get home. She's always rolling on her back for a tummy rub and loves being cradled in my arms while I'm watching TV" 📺

When Callie isn't chasing her big brother, Buddy, around the house, she loves taking naps with her human mama. Such a sweet, well-rounded girl! 💓

We're so glad this little family has found one another, and wish them many more years of cozy couch cuddles and companionship 💞

Candy Cane's Adoption Story ❤️

When Shauna met Candy Cane in December 2022, it was absolutely love at first sight ❄️

“We had a whippet at home and were hopeful to find the perfect sibling and Candy Cane was just that. We felt like we hit the jackpot when we found her on the EHS site,” Shauna tells us.

The family knew the moment they met her that she was a special soul and would made a great addition to their family 🏠 As time went on, they learned so many things about Candy Cane and truly started to see just how amazing she is.

“We love Candy Cane because she is a sweet, gentle soul. She is definitely a conversation piece and grabs everyone’s attention when she races at the dog park,” Shauna laughs. “She is a beautiful dog all around.” 🥰

While naturally full of energy, Candy Cane also has a soft side to her, often opting to relax and cuddle on the couch with her humans, where she receives lots of ear and chin scratches — her favourite!

We’re so happy Candy Cane found a home that truly appreciates all of her qualities. We wish this family nothing but the best — including many more years of couch cuddles, dog park zoomies and love 💞
