On a positive note - our first market weekend was not rained out. We had very cold temperatures and a wicked wind - but our vendors came prepared. Thank you to all those vendors - and customers - who made our opening weekend a success. It was so great to see our regular vendors once again and to welcome some new vendors: Beast Woman Designs; Virginia Caldwell’s Magnolias, Digby Community Garden, Seawall Sourdough, Honey and Mint Farm, and Whimsical Art by Natalie Wyllie. A special thank you to Ray and Maurice, the dynamic duo from Annapolis Royal, Livin’ the Dream, who entertained us with a collection of fun, interactive, foot-stompin’ favourites on a blustery day. A big shout out also goes to Digby Public Works who answered our call Sunday morning and promptly came to hook us up with the power we needed for our vendors and our musicians. We can’t wait until this weekend - for warmer temperatures and for more vendors to join us! See you all Friday and Sunday, 10-3, weather permitting, along our beautiful Admiral’s Walk.
