Our final Healthy Cooking on a Budget workshop was a success! The workshop was filled with participants who enjoyed participating in the preparation of lentil curry, vegetable & lentil rice, bean hummus, and a delicious sweet treat for dessert. Participants were able to take the recipe home with them and enjoyed a serving of the finished meal.

Thank you to the Digby & Area Community Health Board for funding these series of workshops. Also, thank you to Baha's for facilitating the workshop and to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 20 for providing the space.

Our fourth Healthy Cooking on a Budget Workshop is taking place on Tuesday, March 31st at the Digby Royal Canadian Legion from 4pm to 6pm.

Our third Healthy Cooking on a Budget workshop was another great success! The workshop was filled with participants who enjoyed participating in the preparation of a breakfast skillet, homemade maple sage breakfast sausage, beans, and a delicious blueberry oatmeal crisp for dessert. Participants were able to take the recipe home with them and enjoyed a serving of the finished meal.
