We are very saddened to hear that the Kamloops Dressage Show has been cancelled due to low entries. We know how much work goes into organizing these events, and our hearts go out to the organizers, volunteers, officials, sponsors, and riders who were looking forward to attending.

That said, we are still very excited about the Okanagan Dressage Cup! If you attended both the Kelowna Dressage Show and the Vernon Dressage Show but missed the Okanagan Cup registration deadline, we would like to extend an invitation for you to sign up as a rider. Please reach out to us as soon as possible.

While show entries have been lower across the region this year, we are encouraged by the enthusiasm that so many riders continue to have for our sport. We are also incredibly grateful for the many supporters and sponsors whose generous contributions have once again made the Okanagan Dressage Cup possible.

A separate post recognizing these amazing sponsors and supporters will be coming soon—they deserve a huge thank you for everything they do for our dressage community.

We will also announce the date and location of the Okanagan Dressage Cup Awards Ceremony as soon as those details are finalized. We look forward to celebrating everyone’s accomplishments together! 🏆🐴❤️

🚧Access to VDRC is now via KALAMALKA LAKE ROAD. Larger horse trailers will be able to access through this route starting again Tuesday June 23.

🚧There may be a temporary swap back to the North access (Hwy 6) later this week for a water line repair.🚧

🎨 This event will feature artist Heather Smith. Heather will instruct you on how to paint a beautiful Kalamalka Lake scene on a canvas tote bag that you can proudly use after!

If you enjoy riding at VDRC, consider bringing some friends and attending a Paint & Sip! Experience the VDRC in a completely different way. We know you’ll love it!

This is an all ages event. Wine and Cider will be available for purchase along with pre-ordered charcuterie boxes, candy bowls and Fruit kabobs! All art supplies are included.
