Citizenship Congress was an experience like no other!!

14 BC delegates had the opportunity to attend a citizenship ceremony, speak with stakeholders about the future of agriculture, and participate in a debate held at the Senate of Canada. A longtime tradition of Citizenship Congress is provincial pin trading, which gave members a chance to meet and connect with other 4-Hers from coast to coast.

Overall, members left with several new contacts and a wider perspective on the present and future state of agriculture in Canada

A couple weeks ago, True Country 4-H Food project members had an incredible hands-on experience at !

From stepping inside the kitchen to learning the ins and outs of food storage, equipment safety, chemical handling, and professional kitchen etiquette, the day was packed with real-world skills. The highlight was an engaging knife safety and sharpening session with owner George Salivaras, giving members practical confidence they can take anywhere!

Thank you George & Leader Emily for creating an awesome opportunity of learning and next-level kitchen skills!
