The Centre is accredited by Accreditation Canada, licensed under the Homes for Special Care Act, and funded through the Nova Scotia Department of Community Services. Client supports include medical and dental services, psychology and psychiatry, social work, speech-language pathology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, behaviour intervention, nutrition, assistive technology, vocational, recreational and other resources. All clients participate in an individualized program plan (IPP) to identify individual needs and abilities so that programs and activities enhance care, independence, health, social and daily living skills, and learning.
