ENGAGE COBOURG: June is Recreation and Parks Month, and the Town of Cobourg wants to hear your feedback on the Draft Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

This month serves as a time to recognize the importance of green spaces and community programs in our Town.

Cobourg provides an impressive 7.5 ha of parkland per 1,000 residents? This is a significant improvement since the 2013 Parks Master Plan identified a parkland service level of 4.8 ha/1,000 residents.

About Boccia 👇
Boccia has been a Paralympic sport since 1984 and continues to grow in popularity around the world. The game tests both muscle control and accuracy as players throw, kick, or use a ramp to propel leather balls towards a white target ball called the “jack”. Boccia requires focus on precision and strategy more than physical strength, leveling the playing field for participants of all physical abilities.

Residents are encouraged to view the plan and executive summary, explore the recommendations, and share their input by Monday, June 8, 2026.
