As summer comes to a close, we want to send a huge THANK YOU to the incredible summer staff who made our 2026 SEAM and Summer Tutoring Programs such a success! ☀️💙

Both of these programs provide valuable opportunities and supports to students across PEI, and they simply wouldn’t be possible without the energy, enthusiasm and dedication of the amazing people pictured here.

Throughout the summer, our staff built connections, encouraged confidence, supported learning and helped create positive experiences for so many Island students. We are incredibly grateful for everything they brought to ResourceAbilities this summer.

To our 2026 SEAM and Summer Tutoring teams — thank you for choosing to spend your summer with us and for making a difference in the lives of students across PEI!! We hope you are as proud of the work you accomplished as we are of you. 💙

We know the cost of having medical forms completed can be a barrier for our clients, glad to see our advocacy along with peers across the country has made a difference!

Having forms filled out by our experienced staff at ResourceAbilities always was and always will be free, this supplement will help with the portion that requires medical practitioners to complete.

Reach out to us anytime for assistance with applications for Canada Disability Benefit, CPP-Disability, Disability Tax Credit or any other Federal or Provincial program for persons with disabilities. We have knowledgeable staff across PEI available to help!

Starting in fall 2026, eligible recipients of the Canada Disability Benefit (CDB) will receive a one-time supplemental payment of $150 to help offset the cost of obtaining the Disability Tax Credit.

Previously received the Canada Disability Benefit? You may still qualify for this supplemental payment, even if you no longer receive the benefit.

The Canada Disability Benefit provides direct financial support to people with disabilities who are between 18 and 64 years old.

Behind every milestone, program, and meaningful moment is this incredible crew. ✨

Taking some well-deserved time on the water to celebrate the heart and soul of everything we do: our team. Couldn’t ask for a better group to share a boat (or a workday) with.

The work we do wouldn’t be half as fun or meaningful without these faces making every single day easier, louder, and a whole lot brighter. So lucky to work with people who genuinely care this much. We couldn't do it without each and every one of you!

What an incredible couple of days! We were honoured to spend time with Rick Hansen and staff from the Rick Hansen Foundation, along with Government of PEI representatives, community leaders, and accessibility advocates.

We had some fantastic conversations, shared ideas, and explored new ways to work together to make PEI more accessible and inclusive for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who took part. It's always inspiring to be surrounded by people who share the same passion for breaking down barriers. 💙♿

A big thank you to the Construction Association of PEI! 👷🔨

We were thrilled to welcome the CAPEI team to our SEAM programs. Their interactive virtual reality construction experience gave our participants a fun, hands-on look at the many exciting careers available in the skilled trades.
