Meet Abby! At 13 years old, she’s thriving—a testament to how far she’s come. 💙 But five years ago, her world looked very different. Confined to hospital walls while awaiting a heart transplant, her days were filled with exams and procedures.

When her wish to go to Walt Disney World was granted, it gave Abby the chance to just be a kid again and experience life beyond the hospital. It reminded her of everything waiting outside those walls.

Her wish gave her hope, restored her sense of wonder, and returned a piece of the childhood she fought so hard for.

Today, that wish remains a critical part of her healing journey, acting as a dose of hope no other medicine could provide. 💫

Words like these remind us exactly why we do what we do. 💙 Every wish granted is a memory that lasts a lifetime.

Due to operational requirements, HMCS Charlottetown has advised that the anticipated June dates for the Run for Wishes are no longer feasible. As the ship is currently at sea, logistical challenges made it impossible for crew to return in time for the event.

However, we’re pleased to share that the Run for Wishes has been successfully rescheduled and will now take place September 22–26.
We remain incredibly grateful to the crew of HMCS Charlottetown for their continued commitment to helping grant wishes for children across PEI, and we look forward to an impactful event this fall. 💙

15-year-old Sydnie loves dancing, singing, and acting. In fact, she dreams of one day growing up to become an actress. 🎤🎭

Sydnie is also living with a nervous system disorder that has caused uncontrolled epilepsy. During hard times, Sydnie found light in listening to one of her favourite artists, Freya Skye. A few weeks ago, her most heartfelt wish came true when she attended Freya’s concert in Toronto and got to meet the star. ⭐ Sydnie enjoyed a night full of fun and singing her lungs out.

Thank you to Freya and her team for making Sydnie’s wish an incredible experience! 💙

Happy Best Friends Day to Zeke and his papa!

At 6 years old, Zeke has already shown more strength and courage than most of us will in a lifetime. After being diagnosed with a brain tumour and facing two surgeries and rounds of chemotherapy, this bright, joyful little boy never stopped smiling.

Through every hard day in the hospital and every happy moment in between, his papa was right there beside him. And recently, their bond was celebrated in the best way possible: a long-awaited wish trip together, complete with dolphins, sandcastles, and all the sunshine Zeke deserved.

Zeke's journey isn't over yet, but moments like these remind us why hope matters. Here's to best friends who show up—in the hard seasons and the joyful ones too!

Happy ! 🚲 Today we are celebrating 12-year-old wish kid Hunter, who just received his ultimate dream ride.

Hunter is all about action. His favourite things are dirtbiking, scootering, biking, and playing video games. To keep up with his love for adventure, he wished for his very own e-balance bike!

Living with a blood disorder that requires frequent transfusions takes an incredible amount of strength and resilience. This new e-balance bike gives Hunter the freedom, speed, and joy to just be a kid and hit the trails.
