Some bikes need a quick fix. Some need a bit more patience.
Good thing Ken has both!

At the HUB, volunteer mechanics help people learn how to fix their own bikes, one small adjustment at a time.
It’s pretty low-pressure. People take their time, ask questions, figure things out as they go.
Ken’s usually right there in it. Calm, steady, and always kind. The kind of help that makes you feel a bit more confident trying things yourself.

Volunteering at theHUB is not about being an expert. Just showing up, taking your time, and helping someone keep rolling.

If you’ve been to the HUB Canmore, you’ve probably seen Brandon there.
Helping out, keeping things moving, and jumping in wherever he’s needed.

The HUB is part workshop, part hangout: people fixing their bikes, learning as they go, asking questions, figuring things out together.
Brandon’s right in the middle of that, always willing to help.

If you like working with your hands, being around bikes, and being part of something low-key but really useful…volunteering at theHUB is a good place to start!

Some people pack their bikes away for winter.
Some people add better tires and keep going 👀❄️
Bike All Winter is all about that second group—making winter riding more doable (and honestly, more fun) with gear, tips, and a bit of backup along the way.
It’s volunteer-run, which means people like Amie are behind the scenes helping it all happen—from planning to problem-solving to keeping things moving when it’s very much not bike season.

Cold, yes.
Impossible, no.
Want in? All it takes is showing up and being into bikes… even in January.
