KidSport Bow Valley We provide grants to help cover the registration costs so all kids in the Bow Valley can play! With your help, ALL Kids Can Play.

KidSport™ strives to ensure that 100 per cent of donations and fundraising proceeds are directed to KidSport™ children. This is made possible through the generous support of local and provincial sponsors. Funds raised are directed in the form of grants to individual children or to KidSport™ programs. Individual grants ranging up to $500 are available to children up to the age of eighteen. Upon app

roval of the KidSport™ Application Form, funds are sent directly to the sport organization on behalf of the family who applied for financial assistance. All applications are screened by an approval committee to ensure the financial need and legitimacy of the applicant. KidSport™ policies require that at least one of the following individuals endorse the application: a school teacher, principal, or community school worker; a professional in social work or family services; a law enforcement officer; a member of the clergy; or a recreation administrator. Or family financial information such as
• Alberta Works Child Health Benefits Letter
• AISH
• Income Support
• Subsidized housing
• Canada Child Tax Benefit Notice (first page)
• Three consecutive Pay Stubs of all
working adults in the home
• Notice of Assessment for most recent tax year
(for each adult living in the home)

Welcome back to school. This September, we’re highlighting the changemaking organizations educating students in the Bow Valley. Whether it’s colouring at a desk, learning about the land, or adventuring in the mountains, our partners help children and youth become resilient adults.

📚 The Wim & Nancy Pauw Foundation provides an annual donation to Canadian Rockies Public Schools, supporting a psychologist, wellness worker, speech and language pathologist, and occupational therapist.

🌲 We look to support innovative learning experiences, from outdoor education and land-based learning at Nakoda Elementary School to programs like Take Me Outside, Spirit North, and École Notre-Dame des Monts.

🩵 These initiatives create opportunities that connect students to culture, community, and the outdoors, resulting in stronger schools and more resilient learners.
