ACCPA is pleased to share an upcoming learning opportunity for professionals working in crime prevention, public safety, research, and community safety.

The Edmonton Police Service, in partnership with the Canadian Society of Evidence-Based Policing, will host the Building Bridges: Evidence-Based Policing Conference on October 7 and 8, 2026, at the JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District.

A pre-conference workshop will also be held on October 6.

The conference will bring together police professionals, researchers, and public safety partners to explore practical, evidence-informed approaches to preventing crime, strengthening partnerships, and improving community safety.

Sessions will cover crime prevention, leadership, emerging technology, community engagement, and research that supports better public safety outcomes.
