You may have read a post recently about some concerns residents have in the community of Riverbend with the changing of roads, increased traffic, and safety concerns along a quiet residential street. Riverbend residents are currently in the process of collecting signatures for a petition to restrict the access of Riverstone Road to buses and emergency vehicles only.

Take a look and if you agree with the position they are taking then please sign and share.

UPDATE:

New traffic lights at the intersection of 86 Ave/Harcourt Rd. SW and Elbow Drive SW to be activated on Tuesday October 6, 2026.
These new set of traffic signals will replace the existing overhead flashers.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!! - PLANNED CONSTRUCTION/NO THRU TRAFFIC -

Residents of Haysboro please take note of the following important notice.

There is planned construction at the site 1007 89 Ave. SW which is scheduled to begin Friday, September 19 at 5pm. Please be careful at this intersection as construction trucks have already had this portion of the road shut down to one lane for the last couple of days. Please ensure you read the letter from Peak Contracting Services to see if you will be impacted and call the number listed in the letter if you should have any questions.
