The Shaw Family Foundation is investing in student success through scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $15,000.

Recipients also have the opportunity to connect with a mentor from the Calgary Police Service for guidance and support along their educational journey.

Apply once and be considered for all three awards.

🎓 Scholarship Applications Are Open!

The Shaw Family Foundation is proud to support students through three scholarship opportunities:

💰 $15,000 Tuition Scholarship
💰 $7,500 Rising Leader Award
💰 $5,000 Achievement Award

Funding can be used toward tuition, books, and other approved education expenses. Recipients also have the opportunity to receive mentorship from a member of the Calgary Police Service.

One application = consideration for all three awards.

As part of our team, you’ll gain hands-on experience in fundraising, outreach, and community engagement, while contributing to meaningful initiatives that make a real difference in Calgary.

Huge thanks to our friends at Jumpstart for their continued support of the Power Play program! 👏⚽🏒

Power Play is a free, weekly program for youth ages 6–17, giving them the chance to learn how to skate and play soccer while connecting with Calgary Police Service officers in a positive, welcoming environment. Through sport, the program helps build trust, confidence, and meaningful relationships, especially within diverse and marginalized communities.

We’re grateful to Jumpstart for recognizing the impact of programs like Power Play and for helping equip young people with the hockey and soccer gear they need to get in the game. Together, we’re creating opportunities, breaking down barriers, and building brighter futures. 💙
