Student Registration Now Open for the 2026–2027 Academic Year!

The Bangladesh Canada Association of Calgary (BCAOC) is pleased to announce that student registration is now open for the 2026–2027 academic year at Calgary Bangla School.

Our weekly Sunday school provides children with the opportunity to learn:

Bangla Language (Reading, Writing & Speaking)
Bangladeshi History and Heritage
Bangladeshi Culture and Traditions
Arts, Crafts, Music, and Cultural Activities
Leadership, Community Engagement, and Cultural Identity

Who Can Register?

Children aged 5–15 years
Registration Deadline: until spots are full.

Classes: Every Sunday
Class Schedule
- Class 1: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Class 2: 12:15 PM – 1:15 PM

Location: Bangladesh Centre

Maximum Capacity
- Total Seats Available: 40 students
- 20 students per class
- Admissions will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Registration will close once all available seats have been filled.

- Third Student (Same Family): $50 CAD

Bangladesh Canada Association of Calgary (BCAOC) would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended the Consular Services in Calgary on July 14–15, 2026.

Although the Consular team experienced significant technical issues that unfortunately resulted in many appointments being cancelled, our BCAOC team remained committed to supporting every community member throughout the event.

We understand how frustrating the situation was, and we appreciate everyone's patience, understanding, and cooperation.

Our volunteers were especially proud to assist our senior community members, helping them navigate the process, complete forms, answer questions, and provide support whenever needed.

Despite the unexpected challenges, we received many kind words and positive feedback about the dedication and professionalism of our BCAOC support team. Those comments mean a great deal to our volunteers, who gave their time and energy to help others.

To every volunteer, community member, and Consulate staff member, thank you for your efforts and cooperation. We remain committed to supporting the Bangladeshi community in Calgary and look forward to serving you again at future consular events.
