At Ssubi Foundation, we believe education goes beyond the classroom. Every student has unique talents and gifts—and they deserve the opportunity to discover, develop and shine.

That’s why we were proud to support Kololo Secondary School with sporting equipment, including soccer balls, basketballs, jerseys and athletic shoes.

Our Founding Director, Philip, is a strong advocate for developing the whole person and often reminds us: “Your health is your wealth.”

Because success isn’t just about what you learn—it’s also about discovering who you are and what you’re capable of becoming 📸 MELANIN KING thank you 🙏🏿🔥🖤 ♥️

Meet our savings group in Anaka.

What began with a shared vision and a commitment to support one another has grown into a thriving community initiative. Their journey is a beautiful reminder of what is possible when people come together, save together, and invest in their families and livelihoods.

We are incredibly proud of their growth, resilience, and determination. Their success is a reflection of the strength that exists within communities when they are given the opportunity to build together.

At St. Philip Teddi Primary School, the learners once studied in an open school environment with no fence, leaving their safety and security at risk.

Ssubi Foundation, together with the parents and the school community, came together to create a simple, sustainable solution — planting hedges around the school grounds.

What began as a shared community effort has transformed the school’s environment, creating a safer boundary for the learners while adding beauty and greenery to their surroundings.

Rebebe Savings Group is one of the community groups proudly supported by Ssubi Foundation. We are inspired by the remarkable growth of their projects and the determination of its members to build better futures for their families.

Through savings, collective effort, and sustainable income-generating projects, members are creating new opportunities, strengthening household livelihoods, and building greater financial resilience within the community.

What began as a small initiative is becoming a powerful story of transformation, self-reliance, and hope—one family, one project, and one community at a time.

Ssubi Foundation — Giving hope, transforming lives, building a better future through education and community initiatives.

School is back, and the smiles say it all.

Our learners are returning to a clean, safe and welcoming school environment—ready to learn, play, dream and grow. What may look like a clean school to some is a renewed sense of dignity and possibility for these children.

A fresh term. A fresh environment. A fresh opportunity to learn.

A kitchen is more than a place where food is prepared — it is part of a child’s learning environment.

At Ssubi Foundation, we believe no child should have to breathe through clouds of smoke just to receive a meal at school.

Our modern, smoke-free school kitchens are designed to create a cleaner, safer and healthier environment for the people preparing meals and the children they serve. With improved ventilation and cleaner cooking systems, we are reducing exposure to harmful smoke while making meal preparation more efficient.

Because when children eat well, breathe clean air and feel cared for, they are better positioned to concentrate, learn, play and thrive.

From the kitchen to the classroom, every detail matters.

Clean kitchens. Healthy children. Better learning. Brighter futures

Behind the scenes at St. Philip Teddi Primary School.

Another Ssubi Foundation project was the construction of a modern school kitchen that was built to give learners a better place to receive the meals they need to learn, grow and thrive.

These videos take you behind the scenes during the final stages of construction — from the finishing touches to the details that brought the vision together.

What began as an idea on paper was slowly becoming a real space, built with purpose, dignity and the children at the heart of it.

This is the work behind the transformation.
This is how we build.
This is how we give hope, one school at a time.
