Congratulations to the entire community! The Redstone Community Association has worked incredibly hard to get this project approved, and it’s a proud moment for all of us.

We are excited to announce that this project is finally starting in the heart of Redstone Park. The structure will be built over the winter at an off-site workshop. Work in the park is expected to begin in early 2026 and will continue through the spring.

Prior to the start of on-site construction, residents will receive notices with full details about the upcoming work.

Thank you to everyone for your support and dedication in making this project a reality!

In an interaction with National Times, representatives from various Indian organizations in Calgary emphasized that the Blood Donation Drive is a collaborative endeavor aimed at serving the community and saving lives. The event, organized by All Indo Calgary Organisations, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Penn West Plaza, Calgary Tower, from 8:00 AM to 2:25 PM. Under the motto “Foster a life with a drop of your blood,” the initiative invites all individuals to participate and contribute. National Times Media Group is honored to be the Media Partner for this noble initiative.

This happened in Red sky way NE Calgary Today at 4:36 pm .A young man and a young Girl They stopped Their car in front of my Dad today and him how are you uncle and Tried to shake his and hold his hand and ask the next hand to show Left hand to steel something like gold or watch . Please be aware of this behaviour in community and if someone knows this vehicle and person please report to police. They cover their License Plate with mud . Calgary police are investigating after shots were fired in the northeast community of Redstone.

At 3:04 a.m. Thursday, police said several shots were fired into a parked car in the 100 block of Red Sky Green N.E.

I believe every one is safe but please please take some steps to keep yourself and your surroundings safe.

The public is not currently at elevated risk—however, ongoing investigations and potential suspect searches may temporarily increase police activity in the area.

Residents should stay vigilant, pay attention to any alerts, and report any suspicious activity immediately to authorities.

Keep doors and windows locked.

Stay alert to your surroundings, especially late at night.

Immediately report any gunshots or suspicious behavior to Calgary Police via 9-1-1.
