The Maveli Institute of Sports – Calgary, Alberta (MISCA) is an organization dedicated to promoting sports development among children and youth of the Malayalee community of Calgary & Surrounding Area with an emphasis on cultivating a strong foundation in teamwork, leadership, respect, self-confidence, communication skills, personal development and healthy living. Our vision is to create an enviro
nment where children and youth of the Malayalee community can be guided to achieve their life goals in the future. Through the medium of sports, important characteristics required to succeed in academics and future careers will be fostered and developed. This process in turn will inspire young people to give back to their community and continue the process of mentorship and guidance to future generations of Malayalee youth.
