This page is a joint effort between the Alberta Beverage Container Recycling Corporation (ABCRC), the Beverage Container Management Board (BCMB), and the Alberta Bottle Depot Association (ABDA). Collectively we form one of North America’s most successful and efficient beverage container recycling partnerships. ir mandate is to be the agent for the beverage manufacturers to operate a common collection system for registered containers and be responsible for recycling beverage containers across the province. ABCRC’s Board of Directors is made up of beverage manufacturers.The

BCMB is a Delegated Administrative Organization, mandated under the Beverage Container Recycling Regulation, to regulate and enhance a leading beverage container system, that protects Alberta’s environment. The BCMB operates with a16-member board, consisting of representatives from Alberta Beverage Manufacturers, Depots and the public (municipalities, environment organizations, and interested citizens. The Depots are a network of over 200 collection sites that refund deposits paid by consumers for their beverage containers at the point of sale. The network is in almost every community across Alberta and is serviced regularly by ABCRC and is regulated by the BCMB.
