Growing Together Through One Door. 💚

At this year’s Report to Community, we shared what happens when support comes together. From housing and community hubs working hand in hand, to helping youth reconnect with family, culture and community, we’re creating more pathways for people to feel supported, find belonging and flourish.

We also celebrated the partners, community changemakers and supporters who help bring this vision to life. Because it takes a community to help a community grow. 🌱

Thank you for spending a crisp fall morning with us, sharing meaningful conversations and celebrating what we can make possible together!

Reconciliation is a shared journey that we walk together. Today and every day, we take time to recognize that there have been people on the lands we serve on since time immemorial.

We are fortunate to have the guidance of our Knowledge Keepers Council and our Circle Keepers, who help us ensure that Indigenous ways of being and knowing are embedded into the work we do.

We are all treaty people.

What a way to celebrate United Way Month in Calgary! ✈️
We had such a fun time taking part in United Way’s annual Plane Pull alongside teams from across the city.
We’re incredibly grateful for United Way of Calgary and Area and the generosity of their donors, whose support helps make so much of our work with young people, families and communities possible. 💚

We’re grateful to share the renewal of Ember Fund’s support for Trellis Society.
Founded in Calgary in 2018, Ember Fund was created in memory of a brother - a friend, a singer, a dad and a young man - and from a deeply personal understanding of how much the right support can matter at pivotal moments in a young person’s life.
Since 2019, they’ve supported Trellis and our work toward meaningful, lasting change. In 2026–27, their generosity will help provide clinical supports and everyday essentials for youth across our programs and services.
Thank you, Ember Fund, for continuing to invest so thoughtfully in young people and their futures.

We're so excited to share our 2025/26 Report to Community! 🌱

Through over 50,000 moments of connection, we welcomed thousands of people through our One Door and guided them to the support they needed to thrive.

Behind every moment of growth are the people who cared enough to make it possible. Whether you are a donor, volunteer, partner, or community member, thank you! You play a major role in helping youth, families and communities flourish.

Our partnership with The Home Depot Canada Foundation goes far beyond fundraising. 🧡

Through the Orange Door Campaign and the hands-on support of Team Depot, Home Depot Associates continue to make a meaningful difference for youth and families across our community.

Recently, Team Depot from #7067 lent a hand at one of our group care homes, while Associates from several locations came together at our Bowness Hub - cleaning, painting and refreshing spaces that children, youth, families and staff use every day.

We’re so grateful for the care, energy and generosity Team Depot brings every time they show up. Thank you for rolling up your sleeves and helping our communities flourish.

What a way to wrap up summer! ☀️🎒

We had the best time welcoming families to Renfrew Hub for our Back to School BBQ! From face painting and free haircuts to great food, resources and lots of laughs, it was such a fun way to soak up the last days of summer together. 💚

A huge shout-out to Kingston Midstream, Marchuk, Traxtion and Inertia Hydrovac for sponsoring the day and helping us send families into the new school year feeling supported, connected and ready for what’s ahead! ✏️✨
