Today marks 7 years since the Accessible Canada Act came into force.

Building a strong, accessible Canada can only be achieved by working in partnership with the disability community, in the spirit of “Nothing Without Us.” While progress has been made, barriers remain—from digital platforms that are not accessible to workplaces that don’t provide accommodations for employees with disabilities.

Accessibility means designing policies, programs, services and spaces with input from persons with disabilities from the start.

Building a barrier-free Canada by 2040 is building a Canada where everyone can participate fully in society.

It's hard to believe it's already been one year!

On July 15, we celebrated one year in our new home at 110W, 1144 – 29 Avenue NE.

What an incredible journey this past year has been. Our new space has given us the opportunity to grow, connect with our community, and continue doing what we love. We're grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way.

If you haven't visited yet, we'd love to welcome you! Stop by, see what we do, learn more about our work, and enjoy a coffee with us. Whether you're a longtime supporter or discovering us for the first time, our door is always open.

Here's to many more years of serving our community from our new home. We look forward to seeing you soon!
