💬 What We Want People to Understand About Living with PANS/PANDAS as an Adult

Join Taryn and Amanda for a peer conversation about identity, growing up with chronic illness or receiving a late diagnosis, accessing care, and finding people who understand.

Whether you’ve lived with PANS/PANDAS for years or are only beginning to make sense of your experience, your perspective matters. Together, we’ll explore what we wish others understood about living with PANS/PANDAS as an adult.

Together, these lights raise visibility, build understanding and remind families affected by PANS and PANDAS that they are not alone.

In honour of World PANS/PANDAS Awareness Day, this special meeting is open to parents and caregivers worldwide.

💬 Speaking Up for Care: Peer Experiences with Treatments & Talking to Clinicians

If you’ve ever left an appointment wishing you’d had more time, weren’t sure how to explain what you were seeing, or wondered how to ask about testing, treatments or next steps, this conversation is for you.

We’ll share peer experiences around preparing for appointments, communicating changes, asking questions and advocating for care — or simply listen and connect with other caregivers who understand.

In honour of World PANS/PANDAS Awareness Day, this special meeting is open to adults 18+ from the international PANS/PANDAS community.

We’ve expanded the age range from 18–35 so that more adults living with PANS/PANDAS can take part in the conversation.

We’ll talk about what PANS/PANDAS can look like in adulthood, the challenges others may not always see, and what we wish healthcare professionals, families, friends, educators and employers better understood.
