Over $500K Raised — And We’re Just Getting Started
RaisingSpiritsYYC began as a vision from a father who recognized the urgent need to support youth mental health. Today, it stands as an 8-year legacy of community, generosity, and impact, having raised over $500K for the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, specifically for Child, Adolescent, and Emerging Adult Mental Health.
Every dollar from our sponsors and silent auctions goes directly to the hospital and the initiatives we fund — no overhead, no salaries. Our 100% volunteer board even covers many expenses out of pocket, which is one of the many aspects that makes this event truly special.
This year, we were honored to have Saifa Dhanani Koonar, President & CEO of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, join us to celebrate this milestone. The cheque presentation, captured in the pictures below, was another proud moment shared with our 2025 Title Sponsor Achen Henderson CPAs.
As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited to welcome new board members, explore a new venue, and aim for $1 million raised by 2029.
