Located in Caledon, Ontario, The Equine Connection welcomes clients with a wide range of disabilities and issues. We work with each individual to discover and develop their full potential. We provide both mounted (therapeutic riding) and groundwork (equine assisted learning) sessions depending on the needs of our clients.

We are so excited to announce that Inclusive Quality Care Ltd. and Freedom Reins Therapeutic Riding Centre are joining forces to bring an inclusive new farm program to our community!

This exciting program is designed for ages 4 years through to adults and gives participants the chance to enjoy hands-on, meaningful experiences with minis, horses, animals, and nature in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.

From building confidence, communication, social skills, life skills, self-esteem, and connection to enjoying time outdoors, this program is all about creating fun, inclusive, and skill-building experiences for all ages.

Programs available for:

1) Tiny Tots, ages 4–6 Parent and child program
2) Kids Group, ages 7–11
3) Teen/Youth Group, ages 12–15
4) Adult Program, ages 16+

This program was developed by Amanda, who brings a strong background in supporting meaningful and inclusive farm-based experiences. Amanda is a:

✔ Certified CanTRA Instructor
✔ BSc in Psychology
✔ Post Graduate Certificate in Autism Behavioural Sciences
✔ Certified Life Coach

Amanda will be joined by Tina, our Resource Consultant, to help support participants in a caring, inclusive, and engaging environment.
