Today marks an important step forward in protecting children and youth across Peel Region as we announced the expansion of nCourage’s anti-human s*x trafficking work into Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon, including the launch of a new hub at Toronto Pearson International Airport. 💜
Together with Peel Children's Aid Society, Our Place Peel, EFRY Hope and Help for Women, Region of Peel and the newest members of our collaborative team, Victim Services of Peel and Caledon Dufferin Victim Services, we are building a stronger, coordinated response focused on prevention, early intervention, safety, and long-term support for victims, survivors, and youth at risk.
In honour of Victims and Survivors of Crime Week, we thank every partner, frontline worker, advocate, survivor, and community member helping to move this work forward with courage, compassion, and hope . We would like to recognize the leaders and generous donors who continue to make moments like these possible, many thanks to Ontario Community and Social Services, Region of Peel and CIBC
Also extending a very special thank you to our keynote speaker Timea Nagy Timea's Cause, internationally recognized survivor, advocate, author, and entrepreneur whose leadership and lived experience have helped advance anti-human trafficking efforts across Canada, including instrumental support for the work of nCourage.
💜 Grateful to our media partners for helping to spread the word
CBC, Toronto Sun, Nitin Chopra and Metro Morning
