nCourage

nCourage Peel Region’s Anti-Human S*x Trafficking Hub offering trauma-informed, client-centred support for victims, survivors, and individuals at risk.

06/05/2026

Real change happens when communities come together.

nCourage's hub is located within The Circle: Peel Centre for Child, Youth and Family Well-Being at 25 Capston Dr. Mississauga.

The Circle brings organizations into one central space, but the work extends far beyond the building’s walls. Through nCourage, partners across Peel Region are working together to provide integrated, trauma informed, and violence informed support for individuals at risk, experiencing, or exiting s*xual exploitation.

Ending violence takes all of us. Collaboration is how we move forward.

Trafficking thrives in silence, misunderstanding, and assumptions.

Awareness cuts through what we think we know and brings hidden realities into the open. When communities recognize the signs and speak up, protection becomes possible. Because recognizing the signs can protect children and youth.

Stronger together. ❤️

Preventing human s*x trafficking isn’t a solo mission, it requires a unified front. At nCourage, we’ve expanded our reach across Peel Region to ensure that support isn't just a crisis response, but a proactive shield for our community.

Trafficking often thrives in the shadows of everyday life. When you stay informed and speak up, you disrupt the cycle. Public awareness is the first line of defense; an educated community makes it much harder for vulnerable individuals to be targeted.

By choosing to use your voice, you aren't just reporting a concern, you’re providing the intervention that could change a life.
Let’s continue to strengthen our net of safety.

Help is here when you need it.

Whether you are seeking support for yourself or for someone you care about, there are people in this community ready to listen and to help.

You do not have to have the right words.
You do not need to be certain.
Reaching out is enough.

Across Peel, nCourage and our partners continue to strengthen support and expand access to care.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on May 11 in support of nCourage and our shared commitment to ending human s*x trafficking in Peel Region.

We are grateful to our community partners, advocates, frontline workers, survivors, and supporters who came together to strengthen awareness, collaboration, and survivor-centred care across Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon. Events like this remind us that meaningful change happens when communities unite with courage, compassion, and action.

Together, we continue working toward a safer future for youth, survivors, and families across our region. 💜

Many thanks to Metro Morning’s Chris Glover for helping to raise awareness about the expansion of our services across Peel Region and into Toronto Pearson International Airport this June, alongside Peel Children's Aid Society CEO Mary Beth Moellenkamp.

We continue to see traffickers use manipulation, coercion, and exploitation to target vulnerable individuals in our communities. Through our nCourage partners we remain focused on providing immediate emergency support, safety planning, and critical resources that empower survivors to rebuild their lives. This is community safety in action as we work together to support and protect children, youth, and families .

Today marks an important step forward in protecting children and youth across Peel Region as we announced the expansion of nCourage’s anti-human s*x trafficking work into Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon, including the launch of a new hub at Toronto Pearson International Airport. 💜

Together with Peel Children's Aid Society, Our Place Peel, EFRY Hope and Help for Women, Region of Peel and the newest members of our collaborative team, Victim Services of Peel and Caledon Dufferin Victim Services, we are building a stronger, coordinated response focused on prevention, early intervention, safety, and long-term support for victims, survivors, and youth at risk.

In honour of Victims and Survivors of Crime Week, we thank every partner, frontline worker, advocate, survivor, and community member helping to move this work forward with courage, compassion, and hope . We would like to recognize the leaders and generous donors who continue to make moments like these possible, many thanks to Ontario Community and Social Services, Region of Peel and CIBC

Also extending a very special thank you to our keynote speaker Timea Nagy Timea's Cause, internationally recognized survivor, advocate, author, and entrepreneur whose leadership and lived experience have helped advance anti-human trafficking efforts across Canada, including instrumental support for the work of nCourage.

💜 Grateful to our media partners for helping to spread the word
CBC, Toronto Sun, Nitin Chopra and Metro Morning
