🌟 Hiring Opportunity for Local Employers! 🌟

We are excited to share Project SEARCH, a workforce development program in partnership with the Grand Erie District School Board and St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre.

Our intern’s complete 700+ hours of hands-on workplace training in their final year of high school, building strong skills in teamwork, communication, reliability, and work ethic.

They gain real experience through internships in Food Services, Environmental Services, Customer Service, and more, and graduate ready to work.

Employers benefit from:
• Job-ready, motivated candidates
• Support from job coaches during onboarding
• Reduced training time
• Strong retention in entry-level roles

If your organization is hiring, we’d love to connect and explore how our graduates can support your team!

What if one hour of your team’s time could shape someone’s career?

ODEN’s next Business Lunch & Learn introduces MentorAbility Ontario, a provincial initiative that connects employers with job seekers who have a disability through short-term, meaningful mentoring experiences.

This session is designed for business owners and leaders who want practical ways to strengthen workplace culture, engage their teams, and contribute to inclusive employment. Mentorship is a simple, low-commitment way to share knowledge, support career exploration, and make a real impact.
