We are closed for the summer!! We wrapped up our Grade 3 Bicycle and Grade 4 Fire program in June....but what have we been up to since then you ask?

1. Paving and Painting our Village roads - Thank you to the Brant Community Foundation for their support. Operational grants enable us to keep maintaining our facility for efficient safety program use.

2. Brantford & District Labour Centre miniature village building renovation - Much appreciation to the Skills2Advance Training Program graduates for their help at the village. For their capstone project, the graduates are repairing the replica Brantford & District Labour Centre building, constructing new benches and picnic tables that the children who come to the village will use for years to come.

3. Chamber of Commerce - In partnership with Kiwanis Club of Brantford, we hosted a chamber business after hours at the Village. We had the chance to connect with a variety of wonderful people as we welcomed them to our village.

This week we are wrapping up our Grade 3 Bicycle Safety and Grade 4 Science of Fire Safety program. These two programs are strategically offered in the two months before summer break to ensure that the children in our community have the safe skills/knowledge when at home and out riding their bikes during the summer.

Thank you to all the Police & Fire instructors for conducting the classes and thank you to the teachers that brought their students to the village for the programs.
A special thank you as well to Fast Eddies, McDonald's Canada and Pita Pit Brantford for providing us with coupons to give to the kids to enjoy during the summer break! :)
