An insightful article worth checking out in the Brantford Expositor: https://www.brantfordexpositor.ca/news/local-news/jobless-rate-drops-by-one-per-cent-but-theres-more-to-the-story-workforce-planning-board

The unemployment rate can be confusing and the job market may feel discouraging, but as Danette Dalton from the Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie reminds us: “It’s important that job seekers know that they aren’t alone, now or at any time,” she said.

“There’s a large network of community agencies, training providers and schools that offer so much more than job search help. They can help build someone’s confidence, enhance their skills, add to their education, access job training and open up new career pathways.”

At Brant Skills Centre, we’re proud to be part of that network. We’re here to support your journey to employment through skills upgrading, confidence-building, and personalized learning. Contact us at 519-758-1664 or email [email protected] to learn more.
