I was blessed to attend Kenyans In Queensland. Mashujaa Day Awards Gala yesterday in Brisbane (self funded). We also got nominated for the community group of the year and we got it. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🇰🇪 It was lovely to be there to represent KIC. Thank you to those who took their time to nominate us.🙏🏾🇰🇪

The joy of being with soo many Kenyans dancing and very delicious Kenyan cuisine was on the menu. I would like to thank the KIQ president Tony for inviting me introducing me to many in Brisbane. I met many old friends and made many new ones. It was great to meet other Kenyan leaders.

As you know KIC had a gala coming up on 28th Nov I also had a pen and notepad to take notes of how they party in Brisbane. 🇰🇪🇰🇪🎉

Happy Mashujaa Day, fellow Kenyans! 🇰🇪

Today, we honour the courage and sacrifice of our freedom heroes and celebrate the everyday heroes whose service, integrity and hard work continue to build our nation.

To Kenyans in Australia, New Zealand and across the Pacific, thank you for flying our flag with pride, supporting families back home and strengthening friendships between Kenya and the communities you call home. Your contribution to our nation matters.

As we celebrate, let us honour our heroes through our actions—upholding unity, serving others and creating opportunities for the next generation.

Wherever you are, whatever your calling, your contribution makes a difference.

WEWE NI SHUJAA!

KIC celebrated our Mashujaa Day/Heroes Day earlier than the actual date of 20th October when it is celebrated annually in Kenya. Our KIC family took the opportunity to honour our KIC men as our shujaas acknowledging them as head of our families. We also celebrated some shujaas that were nominated by individuals for going out of their way to do good not expecting anything in return. Congratulations to all nominated and keep up the amazing job of being your brothers and sisters keepers. 🌻Tenda wema nenda zako🌻. We had certificates and gift vouchers, 6 of them amazing experiences donated by Michael Healy MP and we are very grateful for that assistance. The recipients are very grateful and excited.🙏🏾Since we got more people nominated KIC added other vouchers.
Congratulations again👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🇰🇪🇰🇪
