ITS ON AGAIN 👏👏👏 .
The Kuranda Histroical Society is holding its Annual Quiz Night on the 19th June at the Kuranda Recreational Centre. Going to be a great night with our new Quiz Master, Denis Overberg, making the night real fun and creating a lot of "oh! oh! oh! I know that!" moments to the crowd.
GREAT PRIZES!!!! 🏆 Super generous donations have been made by our local businesses and artsts. Big thank you guys 🫶.
There will be hundreds $ of prizes including two Monster Raffles drawn on the night.
Prizes will also given out for:
**Winning Table - a real haul of prizes donated by Barron Falls Hotel, Here's Good Cafe, Distil on the Hill and KHS. Value $280
**Lucky Door Prize. Family entry Historic Herberton Village. Value $116
** Best Dressed (as your favourite historical figure). Arts Coop voucher. Value $100
There will also be four silent auctions held for each of the following:
** Silent Auction 1 Return for two Kuranda Kuranda Scenic Railway
** Silent Auction 2 two family passes to both Hartleys Creek Crocodile Adventures and Kuranda Koala and Birdworld Kuranda
** Silent Auction 3 Two Peter Thompson pieces,
** Silent Auction 4 a large Paddy Taylor painting,
TABLES AND TEAMS!!!!🤸♀️ The questions will be based on local and global history questions. Tables of six will make a team. Make up your own team, complete with a name of your choice, with some mates or just buy a ticket or two and have fun meeting others on tables made up on the night.

YUMMY FOOD!!! Affordable and seriously tasty Mexican food (vegetarian and "con carne") will be on sale from 6 to 7pm on the night. Home made cakes, tea and coffee are included in your ticket.
