💛Sorry for the late notice, but we’re having a working bee at the Venus Bay Surf Life Saving Club TOMORROW, Saturday 31 October!

⏰ Kicking off at 9am!

We’ve got a few jobs to tackle around the clubhouse to get everything looking great for the season ahead.

Whether you can spare an hour or the whole morning, every little bit helps!

Lunch will be provided, along with some good company and plenty of laughs!

What an absolute pleasure to re-share this incredible news! 🏅

Tom Walsh has been recognised with a Royal Humane Society of Australasia Bravery Award for an incredible act of courage that took place right here near Venus Bay.

At just 13 years old, Tom bravely rescued two teenagers who had been swept out by a rip current at an unpatrolled section of beach.

We couldn’t be prouder to see Tom’s courage, quick thinking and selflessness recognised in this way. What an incredible achievement and a wonderful reminder that acts of bravery deserve to be celebrated.

An incredible achievement for one of our own!
💛💙❤️

A huge congratulations to Scott Johnson on being awarded the National Medal 1st Clasp for Services to Lifesaving – an incredibly rare honour, with only a handful ever awarded in Victorian Lifesaving.

This award recognises 25 years of dedicated service, completing more than 30 patrol hours every season.

We are so lucky to have Scott’s experience, leadership and commitment at Venus Bay.
