School holidays are just around the corner!!!! What?!?! Here’s some fun ideas for activities!

🎭 YOUTH THEATRE WORKSHOPS ARE HERE!! 🎭
Looking for something fun to do these school holidays? Do you have an interest in theatre, music or dance? Or maybe you’d simply love to learn some new skills in a fun, friendly and welcoming environment?

We’re excited to be hosting 6 Youth Theatre Workshops these school holidays, featuring some amazingly talented local people who many of you will recognise from our recent productions! 🌟
We’ll be running:
💃 2 x Dance Workshops with Emily Laughlin
🎭 2 x Acting Workshops with Daniel Lawrie
🎤 2 x Singing Workshops with Kerryn Lockhart
Workshops are separated into different age groups, so please make sure you select the correct age group when booking.

⚠️ Spots are limited, so bookings are essential! ⚠️

We’d love to see lots of our local young people getting involved, having fun and discovering their talents these school holidays!

WOO HOO!!! Our trailer is finally back- after 6 weeks- phew!!! We are so thankful!
Our trailers are available for community use- designed really for local use…use them and bring them straight back so others can use them too. We would love a small donation to use them ( the cage trailers), all contributions help us continue doing all the things we do here.
We’ve always operated on trust, we don’t want up lock them ( as people can’t get them when they need them)… but might have to look at a GPS tracker… any advice on this appreciated!
Anyway, we’re THRILLED- thankyou!

Do you need some one on one help navigating your digital device? Come in on Thursdays from 10am to 12 noon and have a chat with Bec! With support from Good Things Foundation, we've been able to keep Bec at the Centre who will be running these sessions (not in school holidays though). Bring your device - phone, iPad, computer.

We’ve had advice from the Shire community safety team that some of roadside wildlife signs are on the road verge which is not permitted. The signs were designed to go on fences to accommodate this. The shire supports the campaign and understands our community feel strongly about protecting our wildlife- they also acknowledged that people have paid for the sign…. Therefore instead of just removing them, they’ve asked us to let people know so they can be taken down and relocated on fences.

It’s Community Lunch day- everyone welcome to come and share a meal together… Thai Chicken curry with fragrant coconut rice today… yummm!

Now that Spring is almost here (!!) Sunny is resuming the fortnightly trip to Leongatha - coordinating with Koowarra Farmers Market and/or Commons Market - plus a bit of shopping if you like. Bookings are essential: https://www.vbcc.org.au/e-bus

Community Meals are fun...a great chance to share some food, company and eat together. Every Wednesday we do LUNCH at 12 noon - and twice a month there's DINNER. Come along - everyone is welcome.
