Toowoomba families, we’d love your help to support families doing it tough across the Darling Downs 🙏

You can make a real difference for families close to home by donating items your little ones have outgrown. We’re collecting quality preloved or new baby and kids clothing (sizes premmie to 5), nappies and wipes at:

16.6%. It may seem shocking that so many kids in Australia are experiencing poverty. A pack of nappies might not seem like much. But for a family stretching every dollar, it can mean the rent gets paid.

This Anti-Poverty Week, it’s important to remember the value of us all coming together as a community. 

Swipe to hear from our partner support workers about what your kindness really means for a family doing it tough. When nappies are covered, money can go towards food or rent. When a mum opens a box packed with care, she feels seen and every item really helps.

Thanks for showing families they’re not alone. Together, we can help more children get an equal start.

Behind every Clothing Box, Safe Start Box and pack of nappies is a community that chose to show up 🫶

We’re so proud to share that Baby Give Back is a finalist in the Community Achievement Awards for the “Dedicated to Supporting Young Queenslanders” Award.

Our team may be small, but our village is enormous. It’s volunteers packing boxes with care, donors dropping off clothing and nappies, businesses running fundraisers and support services working alongside families every day.

This nomination belongs to every one of you. Thank you for helping us support families with the basics to give children an equal start.

Nearly half of the families we support are experiencing homelessness. Behind that number are parents doing everything they can to care for their little ones, often without a safe place to call home.

Today is World Homeless Day. When a challenge feels this big, it’s natural to wonder what difference you could make. The answer: more than you think.

Together with our partner support services, our community makes sure families have quality clothing, nappies and essentials for their kids when they need them most. Imagine receiving a box like this one during a tough time, packed with care and beautifully presented.

You don’t have to solve everything to help someone. You just have to start.

Thank you to the wonderful team from A.B. Paterson College for joining us to volunteer! You checked and packed every item with so much care. Families doing it tough will feel that care when they open their boxes đź’•

We love hearing from teams after a day in the warehouse. Here’s what A.B. Paterson College shared:

“The team at Baby Give Back were so welcoming. It felt great to be contributing to such a wonderful organisation and purpose.
