Today we celebrate the strength, love, sacrifice and guidance of all our māmā, nannas, aunties and wahine who help shape our whānau every single day. ❤️🖤

At Ngā Waka E Whitu, we acknowledge the endless aroha, support and wisdom our mothers give to our tamariki and communities. Your hard work never goes unnoticed, and the impact you have reaches across generations.

Thank you for every early morning, every encouraging word, every hug, every lesson and every sacrifice made out of love.

He taonga ngā māmā katoa.
Happy Mother’s Day to all our amazing wāhine. 🌺

NEW WAIATA. NEW ENERGY. SAME PROUD CULTURE. 🔥

This is how we keep our culture alive in Australia — by showing up, standing strong, and learning together.

Tamariki. Rangatahi. Pakeke.
One rōpū. One wairua.

The sound of our reo filling the hall.
The stomp of our feet on the floor.
The pride in our kids’ faces.

This isn’t just practice — this is whakapapa in motion.

📍 Tuggerah Community Hall
⏰ 5:30pm – 7:30pm

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to reconnect — this is it.
Come stand with us. 🔥

This is how culture lives on 🌿

Tamariki and pakeke sitting together, learning our reo, our tikanga, our stories — just like our tīpuna did.

Our kapa haka group isn’t just about performance. It’s about creating a space in Australia where Māori can reconnect, belong, and grow strong in who we are.

If you’ve been missing home, this is your whānau away from home 🤍
