We had a few wonderful visitors stop by the block yesterday!

It was great to welcome Sally and Vanessa from Woodside Energy, who are proudly supporting our Digi Van project, along with our friend Bruce from DEWR and our valued partners from WAPOL.

With so many exciting projects underway, it was fantastic to see so many different worlds colliding in one place!

We were also pleased to have Grant Streeter join our Kimberley Bush Garden crew to deliver First Aid training. Thank you, Grant, for sharing your knowledge as always.

Well... it's finally happening!

After seeing what the Digi Van has achieved on the Central Coast, we've built a second one and it's on it's way to Broome!

The van has left Victoria and is making the mighty journey across the Nullarbor and up through the beautiful Pilbara to Broome, where it will soon become a hub for young people to learn music production, podcasting and digital storytelling.

Thank you to Evero Engineering, Design Plus Digital, Gro Foundation, Skilled Creative, Blackmagic Design, Rio Tinto, Woodside Energy, FRRR, Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia and the Department of Communities for backing our vision and bringing the Digi Van to life!

A special mention also goes to Sarah Cox, who created the beautiful artwork 'Pathways of Light and Learning' that now wraps the van. We couldn't imagine it looking any other way.

We'll be kicking off our first workshops in Broome in July with the support of Skilled Creative and SONG LAB and we're pretty excited to see where this journey takes us.

Next stop: Broome. 🌴🎙️

Something really special has been brewing through Digi Beats over the last 12 months 🎛️

From beat-making and songwriting to recording tracks in community spaces, alternate education settings and workshops across the Coast and Sydney, young people have absolutely brought this program to life!

Huge love to Cody from SONG LAB for being such a talented facilitator and creating a space where young people could experiment, collaborate and grow creatively.

And massive thanks to Create NSW for believing in our vision and helping us take Digi Beats into spaces where creativity and opportunity don’t always get enough access!

The talent, originality and confidence we’ve seen come out of these sessions is amazing So many young people finding their rhythm and their voice.

Digi Beats Volume 2 is officially out now!!

Five Get Back in the Game participants have been quietly putting in the work behind the scenes, and they’re just about to cross the finish line!

Through our Metal Masters program on the Central Coast, these young men are nearing completion of a nationally recognised Certificate II in Engineering, building real skills in metal fabrication, workshop tools, and creating their own custom projects. More than that, they’ve grown in confidence and taken meaningful steps toward their next chapter.

We’re incredibly proud of their commitment and progress. Keep an eye out, graduation is coming up this June!

Our Get Back in the Game program supports young people aged 15-21 who aren’t currently in school, work or training, or who may be at risk of disengaging. We walk alongside them to rebuild confidence, develop practical skills, and explore pathways that feel right for them.

TSE joined the Toyota Community Trust Beneficiary Day at the Toyota Centre of Excellence this week.

Through Toyota’s support, we’re delivering Second Gear: Shifting to Success in Broome, a hands-on e-bike program where young people build their own bikes from the ground up.

Great to connect with other organisations driving impact across the country!

Thanks to Brendan and Eve for representing TSE.

This program wouldn’t be possible without Toyota, Gro Foundation and Western Australia Police Force.

Congratulations to our friends at Broome Enterprise Academy on your opening! Have a wonderful term!! 🌻

🎉BROOME ENTERPRISE ACADEMY IS OFFICIALLY OPEN 🎉

Today we welcomed our first students to BEA in Broome — a new independent Curriculum and Re-engagement school supporting young people in Years 7–10 to reconnect with education.

🔨 Our focus is practical, hands-on learning in carpentry and metal fabrication, building real trade skills, confidence, and pathways into training, employment, and further study.

🧑‍🧑‍🧒 BEA is more than a school. Delivered in partnership with Broome Youth and Families Hub (BYFH), students are supported through a holistic wraparound model including wellbeing, family support, and case management — ensuring barriers to learning are addressed alongside education.

🫶🏽 We’re building a safe, inclusive space where young people can re-engage at their own pace and move forward with purpose.

🌱 And this is just the beginning — with plans to expand into horticulture, hospitality, and creative industries to reflect student interests and local workforce needs.

🚍 Don’t miss the bus! We have a few places left for 2026. If you have a young person in your life who could benefit from a small setting and a different way of learning - get in touch!

It’s Youth Week NSW, and this year’s theme, Dream. Dare. Do., celebrates the passion, courage and determination of young people and the positive impact they make in their communities every day.

We are incredibly proud of all the young people we work alongside through our programs in NSW, our Youth Advisory Group, and the many young people who bring so much energy, creativity and fun to what we do. Their ideas, voices and leadership continue to shape our work in meaningful ways!!

The Shire of Broome recently donated a selection of native seedlings from its nursery to The Skill Engineer's Kimberley Bush Garden 🌿

The donation included species suited to the Kimberley environment, such as Terminalia petiolaris (wild plum, red gubinge or marool), along with Acacia and bird flower varieties.

We’re proud to support local organisations delivering initiatives that build skills and create meaningful opportunities.
